Welcome to my model train blog. I’ve been interested in model trains since my youth, having received my first layout at around 8 or 10 years old, a magnificent HO layout which my Dad had built as my christmas present.
Fast forward a few decades later, and I get into ‘N Gauge’, then having moved home ‘Z Gauge’. With space and time becoming limited my ‘model railway’ hobby took a side track (pun intended) and my layouts where put into storage.
Today as a way to relax and keep my other pursuits(radio/ phd / work) I find myself doing the model railways relaxing and interesting
I keep this site as a blog on my model railway and related activties, if thats going to exhibitions, model shops, building and running. I’ve made good progress in the last month and will add more info on the ‘blog’ section of the site.
